Liberty Industrial was engaged by Santos to undertake a deconstruction and disposal study of the Harriet Alpha platform. The Harriet Alpha platform was put into use in 1986 and has halted production in 2013. Since the fourth quarter of 2014, the site has remained as an unmanned facility. Our team’s involvement in the study produced for Santos involved the evaluation of potential sites in Australia for the Harriet Alpha platform’s deconstruction and disposal and we developed a plan for its transportation and dismantling and estimated the schedule and costs for the project.
Robust solutions
Liberty Industrial conducted a thorough study which compared various locations in Australia for the deconstruction and disposal of the platform and provided multiple approaches to how the transportation, dismantling and disposal works could be carried out, with methodologies outlined and project cost estimations included in the study.
Exceptional outcomes
Our Liberty Industrial team completed the study successfully within the agreed upon one-month timeframe on behalf of our client Santos.
