Queensland’s Department of Infrastructure, Local Government and Planning/Economic Development commissioned Liberty Industrial to remove wharf structures including 18,000m2 of concrete deck and substructure with timber bearers, joist and concrete headstocks, edge beams, as well as over 1,900 piles. Stage 1 and 2 needed to be delivered concurrently to meet a tight schedule.

- 95% of materials were recycled.
- 100% of steel beams and reinforcing steel were recycled.
- 100% of the 11,500t of concrete wharf deck and header beams were recycled.
