Liberty Industrial proud to again participate in the MACA 200 ride against cancer in WA, Australia.
Clinton Dick, Director at Liberty Industrial and Kurt Denham, National Plant Manager are this year participating in the MACA 200 Ride for the Perkins.
Known as the highest fund-raising (and friendliest) charity cycling event in Australia attracts all types of riders, the ride brings people together for two days of grueling journey over 200km round trip to support WA researchers to help beat the World’s toughest cancers and assist with those directly affected to live longer, healthier and better lives.
The Ride is held on Saturday and Sunday, 12 & 13 October 2024.
The ride is not an easy one, with participants required to start at 5am and take a 100km journey each day lasting approximately 12 hours, camping over night at Mandurah. The demands of the ride is nothing compared to the struggles for people affected by cancer directly or indirectly.
Liberty Industrial is riding as part of a team called Wheely Ambitious 2024. They are well on their way to reaching their goal of $50,000, but need help to achieve and exceed this figure. If you’d like to sponsor one of our riders, please follow the link to their Team page to support this worthy cause.
