An enviable track record of environmentally sustainable practices and an uncompromising approach to environmental management has allowed us to routinely achieve upwards of 95% recovery, delivering positive environmental outcomes and creating value for our project stakeholders.

We are committed to exemplary environmental compliance and stewardship, so our goal of environmental sustainability always underpins our business practices and guides our daily operations.

Positive Impact

Every project we undertake is designed to have a positive impact. Our core business is decommissioning, deconstruction and remediation services focused on restoring once industrial sites to their original condition or preparing them for a more diverse future.

Reduce, reuse, recycle

We take a resourceful and innovative approach to project delivery, ensuring waste is managed responsibly and sustainably and that all possible materials are recovered.

Responsible operators

We invest heavily in state-of-the-art plant and equipment and own and operate a large fleet of hydraulic excavators, trucks and other heavy machinery. Choosing fuel-efficient machines and friendly fuels (biodegradable oils and lubricants) helps to reduce our carbon footprint.

Social responsibility

We place high importance on community engagement and partnerships and supporting diversity, equity and inclusion.

Our business strategy focuses on mutually beneficial initiatives for engaging communities. This is realised through procurement policies and procedures that reflect our long-term commitment to ensuring locally owned and operated businesses and individuals share the economic and capacity-building benefits our projects bring to the regions we work in.

This is ensured via:

  • Direct employment, training and development
  • Subcontractor and supplier relationships and partnerships with mutual standards
  • Cross-cultural awareness and diversity training programs

Local and Aboriginal Engagement

Liberty Industrial takes pride in delivering value to the communities in which it we operate and has real-life examples of initiatives and achievements with regards to engagement, employment and training for Aboriginal people, across a number of large-scale projects.
